ISKCON Temple Chennai is a Vaishnava temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is located on the East Coast Road (ECR - Chennai to Pondicherry Road) at Akkarai, Sholinganallur. It is in southern Chennai. Built on 1.5 acres of land, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Chennai is the largest Radha Krishna temple in Tamil Nadu. It was formally inaugurated on 26 April 2012.

I recommend one should see this Rajabhoga Arathana/Arati. It is really a goose bumping feeling to be in there during that Arati with music and chants. This Arati will go for about 30 - 45 minutes continously.

One can see several numbers of paintaings depicting Lord Krishna's life events in and around the temple hall. The Temple hall is big and in center some lotus like structure is built on the top, which is considered to be more effective if you stand direct below that and pray or meditate.

The temple is maintained very neat with beautiful gardens and structures all around.

A small canteen is also available inside the campus and they serves foods and chats.

Most of the time, patrons see offering some prasadam like pongal, curd rice in a small cup to all the devotees who visits the temple.
